The design centres on a minimalist, modern style with a focus on clean lines and neutral tones. The walk-in shower with a curved seat serves as a focal point, complemented by high-quality materials and contemporary fixtures. The overall concept emphasises simplicity, ease of use, and a cohesive aesthetic that balances style with everyday comfort. 

• Style:  Modern Bathroom  

• Colour Palette: The project colour palette features warm wood tones, neutral beige and taupe, black accents, Gray tiles, white fixtures, and natural stone elements. Together, these colours create a modern, sophisticated, and natural aesthetic. 

• Materials: The materials used include wood-like tiles for the walls and floor, a solid surface worktop for the seat and niche, black metal fixtures, glass shower enclosures, and a mineral marble sink, which adds a sleek and durable element to the design. 

• Wood-like tiles: The wood-like panelling consists of tiles that add texture and contrast to the space. 

• Vanity: The mushroom-coloured vanity features a contemporary design with curved corners and an arch-top groove detail on the drawer front, seamlessly complementing the strips on the wooden tile panelling. 

• Custom seat: The curved seat adds functionality and accessibility, making the space more comfortable and user-friendly while still adding a stylish design element to the space. 

• Tap: The tap’s unique and precise curvature creates a striking statement piece in your modern luxury bathroom. Finished in matte black, it adds a touch of drama and sophistication to the space. 

Challenge: Designing a shower seat that is both functional and visually cohesive with the bespoke aesthetic of the space. 

Solution: Creating a custom-made shower seat tailored to the room’s dimensions and style, using matching materials and finishes to ensure it integrates seamlessly with the bespoke panelling and overall design. 


Challenge: Replacing the traditional bathtub with a walk-in shower 

Solution: Carefully designing the walk-in shower with a sleek, minimalist, black-framed glass enclosure that complements the existing fixtures and bespoke panelling, ensuring a seamless, modern transition from the previous bath setup. Proper planning of drainage and waterproofing ensures practicality without sacrificing style. 

The “Modern Rustic Retreat” successfully combines contemporary design with natural, warm elements to create a sophisticated and functional bathroom space. By replacing the traditional bathtub with a sleek walk-in shower featuring a custom curved seat, the design enhances accessibility and flow while maintaining aesthetic harmony.
